JOB DESCRIPTION – Technical Lab Analyst (4695)
Location: Northwest Houston, TX
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Lab Analyst to provide day-to-day support for lab operations, focusing on sample receiving, evaluation, and equipment maintenance
Essential Functions:
- Assist in sample receiving, evaluation, and storage processes.
- Maintain lab equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and availability.
- Conduct quality control tests and communicate results effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Support the Lead Lab Analyst in implementing lab procedures and maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of lab experience.
- SEM/EDS experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences preferred
- Experience with carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur analysis is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in personal computer use and MS Office applications.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and basic programming knowledge are desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience in working with a Quality Management System
- Must be able to multi-task effectively
- Strong organization skills required
Type of Assignment:
Shift Schedule:
Monday – Friday day shift. Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.
